ZAMBIA OVER VIEW

Zambia is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. The neighboring countries are the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north, Tanzania to the north-east, Malawi to the east, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia to the south, and Angola to the west. The Victoria Falls one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World is located in Zambia.

The poultry industry in Zambia has a well documented and acknowledged growth over the last decade, cementing its ability and zeal to take on the challenges it faces and overcoming these with innovative solutions as a way of assuring continued and sustainable growth.

Presently Zambia has 26 Million poultry, 2.5 M cattle, Sheep- 0.1 M & Goat -1 Million heads.
